No. Once you download the questions app, you will be notified when to answer questions. And don't worry, if you miss the notification, the questions are always there for you to answer. Just make sure you answer all 60 questions before we launch in your city, to be eligible for founder tier pricing and promotions.

Yes. Throughout the 60 questions, everyone will be able to replace up to 15 questions.

Yes. The more questions you answer, the better our system works, but you can skip any questions you don't want to answer.

Nobody, until you match with someone. Even then, they see only a few of the places you line up, never the whole picture. And we never sell your data.

You pay once. Before your city opens, the founding price is $59.99 CAD; after opening day, it's $79.99. Your membership renews every year for free, and if life pulls you away, you can come back whenever you want without paying again.

The founding price, locked forever, and your place among the people who were here first, on the app from day one. You will also receive early notifications for events and other promotions hosted by Otter.

When the full Otter app launches in your city, you will be able to make your full profile, and you'll be prompted to submit payment to officially begin using the app.

Cancellation and refund details will be spelled out clearly in our Terms when checkout opens. No surprises, no fine-print games.

Yes. When checkout opens, your personal code gives friends money off their membership, and you get money back as they join. Full details with your code.

Because Otter was built here, so it's only right we open our doors here first. Montréal opens when the community reaches enough members, so day one is full, not empty.

When it's ready. Every city opens at its own membership milestone rather than on an arbitrary date, so if you want your city to be next, make sure to sign up. Founding tier works the same way in every city, so you won't miss out on the benefits that come with it.

Your answers exist to find your person, nothing else. We never sell your data, deletion is real deletion, and our Privacy and Security pages spell out the details in plain language.
